I stopped by Skipper's Cove for a late lunch at the behest of a friend who's boat is docked there at the marina. Having never been there, I seized the opportunity to check it out. The restaurant is very nice and open, with an outstanding view of the marina and the water. The background music was good and made for a great atmosphere. I had the boiled shrimp and baked mushrooms, which were cooked to perfection. I washed it all down with a tasty bloody Mary. Skipper's is a rare taste of old Florida. If you are ever in the area, I highly suggest that you give Skipper's Cove a try. My Florida, baby, my Florida and no place else!

Visited for the first time with my mom and was definitely satisfied. Located at the end of the marina area it has a cozy spot right on the water with a laid back and fun feel. Staff is friendly and seems to genuinely care. In the beginning it took a while to get served due to a confusion but our waitress more than made up for it by being timely and warm. The atmosphere is vacation and it really made me feel like I was just there to enjoy myself. We ordered a frozen miami vice, ribeye steak and the blackened chicken fajitas. Everything was scrumptious, large portions and fairly priced. Overall, I’d definitely return and recommend!

What a wonderful restaurant!!!!! Our first time here and it will not be our last. Ryan our waiter was great, the music was fantastic also. I truly can not say anything bad at all. The atmosphere was one of the best I’ve seen. Victor came over and introduced himself to us and Ryan said it’s there first time here. We continued to have a good conversation and I was very pleased with the introduction. The mediterranean grouper is FABULOUS!!!!!! The nachos was huge and delicious also. The cheeseburger was delicious too. We only waited 30 minutes to be seated which is fairly good on a Saturday night. We will be making Skipper’s Cove one of our favorite places to visit!!!!!! Thank you Victor and Ryan see you both again :)

Skipper’s Cove Bar & Grill – Waterfront Dining Done Right! If you’re looking for a true Florida waterfront experience, Skipper’s Cove Bar & Grill is the place to be! Located right on Harbortown Marina, this spot offers gorgeous views of the water, a laid-back tiki vibe, and plenty of outdoor seating under a thatched roof. Watching boats glide by while enjoying great food and drinks feels like a mini vacation. The food was outstanding. We started with fried mushrooms—crispy, golden, and served piping hot. For mains, I had the avocado mahi, and my wife went for the coconut shrimp platter. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The mahi was perfectly grilled and paired with black beans, rice, and pico de gallo, while the coconut shrimp came with a sweet orange marmalade and Grand Marnier dipping sauce that was pure perfection. Portions were generous, and everything tasted like it was made with care. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, with live music on weekends and a friendly, attentive staff that makes you feel welcome. Our server was fantastic—quick with refills and great recommendations. Drinks were ice cold, and the bar menu had plenty of tropical options to keep the island vibe going.

Our favorite local go to. Perfect Florida atmosphere with open air dining on the water under an impressively large Tiki roof. There is plenty of seating as well as an impressive bar that seats about 48 people. The food is very good with a nice menu selection & reasonable prices. There is music most days & all featured groups have been very good. Plenty of televisions for sports fans too. What makes this place our regular stop is the service. Every server we encounter is top notch & makes you feel like they're glad you're there.

From start to finish, this was a great find. We ordered the fried calamari, fish bites, and conch fritters. Everything was fresh and HOT! Service was excellent, food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!

There were 15 of us for an office party and not only was the service incredible, but the food was delicious and fresh and came out in a timely manner without any issues. Our waitress was amazing and on point (I wish I remembered her name!) and super attentive. We will definitely be coming back and definitely recommend!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Ft Pierce. They finished a major remodel in Jan2025 that added space/tables for another 60+ customers as well as a new/taller thatched roof. Same great ambiance and great food; just bigger and better. Our waitress was “THE Original Ashley” (to differentiate from the other two Ashley’s on staff). She was great, very personable, attentive and funny; she definitely added to the fun dining experience. Again, the food was exceptional. My wife had the steamed mussels and I had the pan seared roasted garlic triggerfish. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We strongly recommend the restaurant.
